Crocus's fireworks
They have been selling fireworks online for several years and so have
lots of experience at finding the right fireworks packages for people
- and having a good choice.
They're sourced from TNT Fireworks who specialise in corporate fireworks
displays so they have lots of experience.
Why you can only buy boxed firework sets
Crocus wanted to do 'pick and mix' but then they found it was illegal.
By Law, when you buy fireworks they have to come in sealed boxes in fireproof
sleeves, known in the trade as 'UN cartons'.
Convenience costs £10
Because they are explosives, fireworks need a special storage depot and
packaging (our courier is one of two in the UK to have a license to deliver
them). This is why each delivery costs £10 when you buy fireworks
online from crocus. However this means you know that no delivery person
is at risk from the handling and delivery of your fireworks.
Buy fireworks online
Fireworks must be signed for and delivery must be to the cardholder's
billing address. You have to be over 18 to buy fireworks and you have
to be over 18 to take delivery of them. Crocus's couriers can only leave
your order with an adult, so you must ensure that there is someone at
the delivery address who is over 18 to receive the mixed fireworks box.
If nobody is at the address to receive delivery then our courier will
leave a card on which you must telephone them to arrange a 2nd delivery.
However, if you are not in on this occassion then you will be charged
for a failed arranged delivery of £20.
Safety first
Please make sure you have a suitable area to set up the display before
you buy fireworks, taking into account the recommended spectator distance
of 25m. Always follow the Firework Safety Code and read and follow the
instructions provided with the fireworks. All our fireworks are tested
to comply with BS71114: Part 2: 1988.

For the pro's selection there's the 'Guy Forks Out' set, priced at £445
and is designed to create a stunning display of colour and noise. It contains
over 45 fireworks and the whole show lasts about 25 minutes. For those
that don't fancy lighting each individual rocket and refer to sit back
and watch the show, then our multi-shot boxes are ideal. These are complete
firework displays in one very large box that's set off with just a match.
These start at £75 for the 'Scud Buster' which contains over 250
shots.
If the noise is too much then 'Silent Knight', priced at £50 is
perfect. It has been specially commissioned by Crocus for those who want
the spectacle but not the noise. We even have fireworks more suited to
small gardens like our range of rockets, starting at £60. These
produce a great aerial effect with some of the rockets producing a two-stage
effect - a single burst of coloured stars followed by a multitude of golden
star-bursts. Ooh pretty!
